"There are several methods to classify cellulite. "

(Congenital Lipodystrophy)

There are several methods to classify cellulite. Learn to know them:

The pinch test is a simple way to locate cellulite. Press with your finger and thumb region of the body that may have cellulite. Look for dimpling. This test can be done in any part of the body.

The Nurnberger-Muller Scale defines cellulite as a process of four stages, beginning in normal skin and ending at an advanced stage.

Stage 0
There are no dimples when you are standing or lying down., and when you pinch the skin, these dimples does not appear.

Stage 1
There are no dimples when you are standing or lying down, but when the skin are pinched, dimples appear.

Stage 2
Some dimples are visible when you stand up, but not when you lay down.

Stage 3
Dimples are visible when standing and lying down.

First, an evaluation is needed: analyzes the degree of cellulite and prescribe a treatment.

Manthus + manual lymphatic drainage

Manthus is a device composed of ultrasound and electrical current. It can be programmed for the three types of cellulite. It is painless and deepens the lymphatic circulation.

Manual lymphatic drainage is performed immediately after the Manthus. It is a very relaxing massage with a gentle pressure, for targeting toxins released by Manthus to the lymph nodes.

This procedure can be done everyday.

Carboxitherapy + manual lymphatic drainage

Carboxitherapy is the introduction of CO2 through a medical needle where cellulites are visible I the body.

It can be done two or three times a week.

Manual lymphatic drainage is done before carboxitherapy procedure.

Endermic Vacuum

It is a device widely used for removal of cellulite and directed toward the lymph nodes of the lymphatic circulation. It consists in a moderate vacuum pressure with a suction cup tip sliding on the body, producing continuous movements, painless, on the cellulite nodules. At the end of this procedure, a lymphatic drainage is performed using a very weak vacuum pressure.

It can be done everyday.

Cellulite, technically called lipodystrophy gynoid, is a complex of changes in adipose tissue, resulting in macro and micro nodules on the skin. I often say that cellulite is a chronic disease of adipose tissue to be a progressive that involves inflammation, edema (fluid retention), fibrosis and fat accumulation.

In my doctors office, I notice that cellulite has appeared more and earlier in patients. Young adolescents already have cellulite in stage 4 (visible and painful nodules).

Cellulite is linked to genetics and poor diet (such as high calorie diet, fat diet, insufficient consume of protein, fiber, fluids, minerals and trace elements). Another factor is closely related to lifestyle.
Physical inactivity decreases energy expenditure of muscle mass and causes an increase in body fat. This changes the blood flow, which hinders the oxygenation and metabolic changes in the body.

How to treat cellulite?
Healthy diet and nutrition, regular physical exercises and treatment with a multidisciplinary team.

Cellulite treatments offered nowadays are good and efficient, but are not miraculous and immediate. Usually the patients came here on November to start a treatment with the expectation of solution in December ... But the treatment of cellulite, after it is installed, takes more time than this.

The first step to start the  war against cellulite already installed, would be the patient do a medical evaluation, and clinical nutrition. The quality of the skin as well as the degree of cellulite will be evaluated and, if the patient has dysbiosis (change of intestinal microflora), the intestine will be treated. It is important and should also lower oxidative stress (accumulation of free radicals).

Only after that, the doctor can recommend an appropriate action.

After two months of intensive treatment (Carboxitherapy, Manthus, Subcision, endermology, dermadeep) the patient should continue a treatment program with lymphatic drainage at least once a week for the next ten months. Make this maintenance throughout the year and follow the other recommendations of treatment prescribed by doctor are essential to a good result.

The response to treatment in patients with low oxidative stress, normal bowel habits, proper nutrition and regular exercise make it quick and very satisfactory.
